Fried Salt Fish 1lb

This is a very traditional dish in many places but this form is definitely Caribbean.  Sautéed salted fish with common base ingredients and tomatoes; they combine to offer a flavorful and fragrant dish.

Use this beside a main vegetable course to provide an additional layer to your meal.

Used frequently in the Caribbean as a fill for sandwiches, eg. Bake and Saltfish.

For an amazing breakfast, take section of Alima's Coconut Bake, slice it, put the two pieces to toast for a minute, add a little butter, then a layer of saltfish, and cover.
