This paratha is our large, soft, flaky flatbread, made with a combination of whole wheat and white flours. Paratha originated in South Asia with North African influence. It is known in Trinidad as "buss-up-shut", and in Somalia and Ethiopia as "sabayat."
Each Paratha measures about 17 inches across, and weighs approximately 14 ounces.
Enjoy our parathas with any of our curries for lunch or dinner or as a wrap. Enjoy them with butter, cheese, peanut butter, or jam for breakfast.
