A traditional Guyanese loaf that's a little sweeter, much more flavorful and more dense than regular white bread. Anise Seed bread is great with butter, cheese, peanut butter, or jam. It's also eaten with meats, especially "Pepperpot" (see our Meat and Seafood collection for both Beef and Lamb Pepperpot). The anise seeds gives this bread a unique, fragrant flavor.
