A traditional Guyanese loaf that's a little sweeter, much more flavorful and more dense than our regular whole wheat loaf. Anise Seed bread (Aniseed) is great with butter, cheese, peanut butter, or jam. It's also eaten with meats, especially "Pepperpot" (see our Meat and Seafood collection for both Beef and Lamb Pepperpot). The anise seed gives this bread a unique and fragrant flavor.
